Find, buy and build with BuildCare™

Explore our Australia-wide catalogue of vetted new-build and off-the-plan
properties, shortlisted to your goals by our data team. Once you’ve chosen, an
independent solicitor reviews your contracts at no charge. We track every build
stage, and independent inspectors check the work along the way. For off-the-plan purchases, we arrange and pay for an independent valuation before settlement.

Step 4

Settle and move in (or lease out)

In addition to an independent inspector at every key stage of your build, a licensed inspector carries out a final Practical Completion Inspection before handover. Any defects are documented so the builder can fix them before you take ownership. We coordinate settlement and property management, then check in every six months to see how your property is tracking.

What type of properties do you specialise in, and can you help with both new builds and established homes?

New builds and off-the-plan: house-and-land packages, townhouses, duplexes,
apartments and boutique developments. If an established home is the better move
for your goals, we’ll talk you through the options and connect you with the right
professionals.

Does it cost anything to use 1800 Property?

No. Joining is free, and BuildCare™ is included whenever you buy through us. Builders and developers pay us a commission when a client buys, and you pay the same published price you’d pay going direct.

You only pay us if you choose one of our optional strategy services, PropertyLogic™ or PortfolioLogic™, before you start your search. We’ll always tell you the price upfront.

What’s included in BuildCare™?

Data-backed property selection, a free independent contract review, build stage tracking with independent inspections, an off-the-plan valuation where relevant, a Practical Completion Inspection, handover coordination and 6-monthly reviews after settlement.

How long does a new build take?

Timeframes vary by builder, location and property type, but it’s typically anywhere
from 6 to 24 months from contract to completion. Early on, we’ll walk you through
realistic timing for the project you choose, so you can plan your finance, rent and
lifestyle around it.

Do I still need a broker and a solicitor?

Your broker still handles your finance, and we’ll keep them in the loop if you’d like. We arrange an independent solicitor or conveyancer to review your contracts at no charge, or you’re welcome to use your own.

PropertyLogic™?
